Humorist Howard Fielding was blogging before blogs–and even many of today’s bloggers–were born.
The technology was different–he started with newsprint and snail mail–but the format was the same. Every week he shared a yarn or an insight with readers, and they wrote back.
His “Living Here” column went out to more than 50,000 readers in Northwestern Connecticut in The Sunday Republican from 1993 to 2018. They saw themselves in his stories of watching the kids grow, home handyman disasters, housekeeping failures, life lessons and more.
Now retired from the paper, he’s bringing his funny, family-friendly style to the web and to print. Thanks for joining us here for this latest adventure!
