First, the news, or lack of it: The National Inventors Hall of Fame did not snap up the inventors of Bubble Wrap after my nomination. Perhaps this year.
The names of Marc A. Chavannes and Alfred W. Fielding may still pop up there in the future. Sealed Air Corporation, the company they founded, seems interested in rolling forward on their behalf.
